Ty Beanie Baby Sly - MWMT Fox 1996

Sly, the fox, is a mischievous little creature with a brown belly. Coming soon, there will be a photograph of Sly with a white belly as well. This Beanie Babies toy, with the style number 04115, was first introduced on September 12, 1996, with the brown belly version debuting on June 15, 1996, and the white belly version following on August 6, 1996. Both versions of Sly were retired on different dates, with the brown belly retiring on August 6, 1996, and the white belly on September 22, 1998.

Standing at approximately 10 inches in length, Sly belongs to the sports-themed generation(s) ST 4 and TT 3, 4, 5, 6. The cute fox comes with a playful poem that reads, "Sly is a fox and tricky is he, please don't chase him, let him be. If you want him, just say when, he'll peek out from his den!"

Sly is made with the same fabric as other Beanie Babies like Bessie (style 4009), Bongo (style 4067), Pouch (style 4161), and Tusk (style 4076). Additionally, there have been instances of Sly with odd tush tags, including a Congo, Dotty, Legs, Stinky, and Tabasco tush tag.

This adorable fox toy was also featured in a sports promotion on August 27, 1998, during the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Milwaukee Brewers game, where 10,000 Sly Beanie Babies were given out to fans.
